Pre-dating

One unavoidable aspect of encounters found through marriage consultancies is breakups or the end of relationships. Breakups tend to be the most contentious thing in normal romantic relationships, but in the case of matchmaking, the aim will be to move on to the next meeting as smoothly and with as little stress as possible. At Toracon, the matchmaking advisor and staff handle the termination of relationships instead of the individuals involved, which helps reduce stress and allows for smoother relationships. According to the rules of the Japan Marriage Agency Federation, it is prohibited to contact each other after the end of the relationship, so it is likely that there will be no further communication between the parties. Toracon can act as intermediary even if contact is made in such a case. The other party may be liable to expulsion if they are unable to follow the rules, so there are no circumstances in which problem scenarios linger on. This allows you to carry on your activities with full peace of mind.

Serious dating

We also provide support in case of problems occurring in serious relationships. However, if the relationship is already in the proposal and meeting the parents stage, the couple may be engaged, so a unilateral termination may be considered a breach of this agreement. Therefore, if you find yourself in such a situation, we encourage you to ask our advice on how to proceed.
※Pre-dating can be terminated without too much fuss, but, as the name implies, serious dating implies a committed relationship. It is important to understand the significance of this difference when engaging in relationships to prevent any confusion.

The average length of the activity period for members for success through our services is about 10 months.
The shortest activity period for success is one month.

You can take a break in your activities for up to 3 months. However, you cannot take a break while dating or when a meeting is set up. Additionally, membership fees are calculated on a monthly basis. We can discuss things in case of urgent situations, such as changing job or illness, etc. so please check with our staff.

You will need to submit a certificate proving you are single, certification of your academic history, certification of your income, and a photo. After completing the member registration process, you will be able to start your activities. On average, the process takes about two weeks. You can choose to start your activities either at the beginning of the month or from the middle of the month, so please tell our staff which option you would like to take.

You will be contacted by Toracon either from your personal member page, your specified email address, or your mobile telephone.
Additionally, you can request us not to include our company name as the sender when sending you items by post. It is possible to keep your matchmaking activities secret from your family and those around you.

There may be cases when informing your family suddenly about a proposal may lead to them opposing your plan, so we would recommend you letting your family know that you are in a serious relationship when you enter the serious dating phase.
